Role: Business Development
Job Location: Mumbai, India.
Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving event and exhibition sales, building strong client relationships, and contributing to the growth of our tradeshows, conferences and other events
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities for event and exhibition space selling (stand selling, sponsorships, etc).
- Conduct market research to identify new trends, potential clients, and growth opportunities.
- Strategise and identify areas of growth for the brand.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Collaborate with the marketing, conference and operations teams to ensure exhibitors' and sales goals are met.
- Prepare regular reports and updates on sales performance.
Requirements:
- Proven experience (5+ years preferred) in business development and/or event sales.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build rapport and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Target-driven, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Experience in B2B media, events, or advertising sales is an advantage.
